• To authenticate reviews and moderate submissions before publication.
• To conduct dealer audits, issue certificates, and maintain the verified register.
• To investigate reports, prevent fraud, enforce our terms, and protect the service.
• To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability of the site.

Approved reviews are public and may include the reviewer name you provide, rating, review text, publication date, and dealer reply. We do not publish the transaction evidence used to verify your review.

Dealer records may publish the company name, trading address, telephone number, website, licence and certificate details, verification date, audit outcome, and public reviews.

We use service providers to host the site, authenticate users, and operate the independent review hub. They may process information only to provide those services. We may also share information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a business transfer.

We do not sell personal information or allow dealers to buy access to reviewer evidence.

The site uses essential cookies or similar storage to keep you signed in, protect forms, and preserve security settings. These are necessary for account features to work. If optional analytics are introduced, this policy and any consent controls will be updated before they are used.

We retain information for as long as it is needed to operate the register, resolve disputes, maintain audit history, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Retention can differ by record type; review evidence may be retained after a public review is removed when needed to document a moderation decision.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your account, or object to certain uses. Some information may need to be retained when required for security, audit integrity, dispute resolution, or law.

TrustTractor is intended for adults researching or reviewing dealer transactions. It is not directed to children.
